Christmas-themed Sizzix Sizzlits dies are made from rigid plastic with layers of steel (for embossing and cutting) and foam (for protecting your fingers). The small foam-covered plate measures approximately 2 1/4" square. Looking at the foam side, solid lines will be the cut edges and/or slits in the design. Dashed lines (on the more intricate plates) indicate embossed perforations.
All dies in this listing are gently used and do not come with original packaging. The foam of some dies that produce multiple shapes may have imprints/grooves from not covering the entire die plate with a single layer of cuttable material. It does not affect the die's ability to cut cleanly.
See the drop-down list for available patterns.
To use this die plate, you will need a manual embossing machine with rollers, a universal platform, and two cutting pads. Die should be placed on the lower cutting pad with their plastic side down. Position the materials to be cut over the foam side. Thinner materials may also require the use of a thin die adapter. If you own an embossing machine, you know how the sandwiching process works! For optimal results, use only one layer of thin, cuttable material (cardstock. scrapbook paper, book page, foil, etc.). I recommend a test run with a scrap piece, starting with the minimum number of pads and adapters and adding more as needed. Different materials will give you different end results. Sample projects are not included in this sale.
